Aren’t you lucky there’s a big dam between us, I’d have your furry ass for breakfast….but seeing as our courtiers/owners or what-have-you are related, I guess we need to be courteous to one another….arrrgghhh…I’ll try….but don’t push your luck.
I’m actually not talking to my c/o’s….they abandoned me when the old grey fellow went to France. Fortunately they have left me with a great family, a few dogs, one ropey guy ( same breed as I) and a hoard of things that look like my carers….’sept they are hairy, don’t wear clothes and make strange sounds…my carers call them monkeys and marmosets….strange creatures! My hosts are also quite cool. No cats…wouldn’t stand a chance here…ha ha.
Would love to get my paws on a few of those canines you describe….they would soon know who’s the main dude……
Must go now…chat soon….don’t forget…our coms are under duress…..just to please the grey ballie! !

Well, it depends if you’re talking talent on two legs or four?

The talent of the four legged kind is plentiful but, unfortunately, they’re mostly canine and I’m a bit of a specist. Also, they tend to be a little over-coifed and over-dressed for my tastes. Their fashion sense, and that of their owners, does make for charming strolls down the Croisette though.

As for the bipedal talent - if there is such a thing - in my experience so far the residents of Cannes and the region can mostly hold their heads high in the looks department. Their is a large Italian contingent here too which certainly ups the averages. I’m told the men can be a little forward for some ladies’ tastes but I think that may be a case of the ladies protesting merely to keep up appearances!

Apparently the summer season also does wonders for the averages - I will certainly keep my eyes peeled and let you know. I would enlist courtier Adrian’s help in that regard but I fear courtier Anabela might not approve.

I am absolutely delighted Flea, that you have your own blog site. I will be following it with great interest. I am intrigued with the two legged friend though. I will check in on a regular basis and would like to know from you what the local talent is like. I have heard that the French are very romantic, so I am sure there will be many prowling around at your door. XX
